adega de pegões

Adega de Pegões (a place almost only known because there was a huge straight road in the ld national road that connected the Algarva with the rest of the country) has been surprising me a lot lately.

First it was their rosé and now this fantastic white.

Very fruity, very fresh, very easy to drink, and most of all, i bought it for 1, 56 € from the local supermarket......

I rate it a good 90%

Grandjó

I am getting into white wines.

In fact I am getting into wines (dot).

I think that it is not the food or whatever it is you are having the wine with. It is the momentum that makes this or that wine perfect for the occasion.

Tis wine is quite fruity (moscatel is well noticed here) and fresh.

Very balanced, very smooth I have to

Marquês de Borba Branco

Evrybody know the Marquês de Borba Tinto (red), it is indeed one of the most known wines in portugal.

Coming from J. Portugal Ramos one can nly expect good stuff.

In fact this white is absolutely ecquilibrated, very mild to the nose, very mild to the muse.

Extremely smooth to drink and appealing to the taste.

I don't know what ore to say except...

I rate it:

90%

Plansel Selecta

Nce wine.
I bought it at a local delicatessen just because of the way it looked and the price :)
At first when I opened it it was bit too bitter.
Then as it aired n the bottle i started to like it.
It has for sure a lot of central european influences even though the grapes are typically portuguese. But it tastes a lot as the Hungarian, German and Austrian wines ai Have tasted so far.
Maybe it is because the name of the producer is Bohm (sorry no tremma in my keyboard)

I rate it
65%

p.s: thanks weinbroker for the pic
